How to join

  1. Have Minecraft: Java Edition. You need a Microsoft account that owns Java Edition — the same login you'd use for regular Minecraft.
  2. Install Prism Launcher (free, Windows & Mac) from prismlauncher.org. It's the launcher that runs modpacks.
  3. Add your account in Prism: Accounts → Manage Accounts → Add Microsoft, and sign in.
  4. Download the pack (button above) and in Prism click Add Instance → Import from zip → choose the file you downloaded.
  5. Launch it. First time, it downloads Forge + Minecraft automatically — give it a couple minutes.
  6. Join. The server Honey, I Built a Reactor is already in your Multiplayer list. Click it and you're in. 🍯
First launch is the slow one (it's fetching the game files). After that it opens fast.

What you'll need

Minecraft: Java Edition — a Microsoft account that owns it (everyone who plays needs their own).
Prism Launcher — free, the thing that runs the modpack.
~2 GB free space and a few minutes for the first launch.
The server address: mc.jonclaude.net (already built into the pack).
